As soon as the haunting, graphic opening credit sequence began to roll for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, I started to regret my decision to see the movie by myself. If I was already sweating with anxiety in the opening minutes, how would I survive the next two and a half hours of what was sure to be a dark, emotional roller coaster?
